Capital Restaurant Resources is a national recruiting agency with a Washington, DC regional focus. We have more than 60 clients, ranging from free-standing restaurants to upscale hotel chains, with a combined total of more than 1,000 outlets across the country, featuring fine dining, upscale, and casual menus. Our grassroots approach to recruiting has led to many successful relationships across the Washington, DC dining scene, which is not-so-quietly becoming one of the nation's premier dining locations. CRR is very well connected and has become a respected name within the industry. Capital Restaurant Resources aims to place experienced food service and hospitality professionals in high quality businesses. Our focus is on the Washington, DC Capital Region, where the restaurant industry is blossoming, but we do have national clients from coast to coast. CRR believes in a firm commitment to customer service, will go the extra mile to fill the needs of our clients and candidates, and can always provide insightful consulting advice to both parties. We serve the needs of the area's growing food-service economy by seeking out the talented, experienced individuals this growing industry demands.

Capital Restaurant Resources was founded by Christopher Floyd in 2004 to meet the growing needs of the DC food service industry for trained and qualified people. A Washington native, Floyd has more than fifteen years of experience working in all aspects of the hospitality business in Washington, San Francisco, and New York. Floyd is a Washington native, has a degree from the Culinary Institute of America and truly understands the needs of our hospitality clients and candidates; CRR has been there. CRR has a very high success rate with placed candidates; over 90% of our candidates succeed in their new position. CRR also has a good rate of fulfillment with clients; more than half of interested properties come away hiring a successful candidate from CRR.


About Chris Floyd

Chris Floyd heads CRR's Recruiting Team. A Washington, DC native, Chris has more than fifteen years of experience working in all aspects of the hospitality business in DC, San Francisco, and New York. After receiving a degree from The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), he worked his way up the ladder at two of San Francisco's top restaurants – Aqua and Alain Rondelli – before running the kitchens at Silks in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Left Bank. Before launching CRR, he helped to open Charlie Palmer Steak on Capitol Hill. Chris is skilled at assessing his clients staffing needs, identifying problem areas, and listening to management candidates' career goals and aspirations. He strives to find the right candidate for each client, to ensure a successful, long-term relationship.
